We are conducting research on e-commerce companies requiring detailed product data from their websites.
We want to scour product data from 12 websites with more than 250 SKUs or unique products.
We need to extract the following data fields from each website:
Product Name
Description
Website name
Brand/ Designer name
Category Women, Men, Kids, Other
Product Category -(Clothing/ Apparel, Shoes, Bags, Accessories)
Price (in US Dollars)
Discounted Price (if on sale) (in US Dollars)
Inventory availability
Data Requirements
Product names need to be standardized (or assigned similarity scoring) to enable matching of identical unique products across the multiple websites.
Brand/ Designer names need to be standardized across websites to enable matching across multiple websites.
Categories and Product Categories need to be standardized to the taxonomy provided above.
We need to hire individuals who already know the scraping of ecommerce website and understand how to scrape.
