Project Title: Scraping Tripadvisor and Google
Project Description:
We require a scraper that can retrieve all of entries for keywords from both Google and TripAdvisor.com, import them into a mysql database.
Example:
Search is for beach, script runs and checks trip advisor for a list of zip codes and retrieves entries for each matching property in each matching zip (zips can be loaded by file). These are inserted into mysql as they are collected in batches.
Second part, script runs and collects all of the business information for each zip code for that search term from google places API. These are inserted into mysql as they are collected in batches.
Both scripts should write to a log what they are doing, any errors, progress…etc
