Project Title: Scraping California Lawyers Email Database verified from Calbar

Project Description:
I need you to go onto the California Bar Association\’s website to verify lawyers contact information at http://members.calbar.ca.gov/fal/MemberSearch/FindLegalHelp

Collect 25 fields of public data from list 270,000 directory pages on one site. Wanted to look into getting the full database of California Attorneys verified from the California State Bar.

I need you to pull the Name, Address, Phone, Email, Fax. This search will result in well over 10,000 attorneys.

This site will only give you 500 at a time and it also will lock you out if you keep going after information from the same IP address.

So you will have to break the list down not just to of the A’s and then B’s because there are over 10,000 A’s. If you could search like Aa, Ab, Ac, Ad, Ae, Af, Ag, Ah…….then go to the B’s and then the C’s.

I am not sure how you will be able to get past the IP address issue. Let me know what you can do for me.

Before we give you full list we need to make sure that 250 sample is working fine.

Note that for deceased lawyers no info is given. See:

If no info is provided, just record Status as “Deceased” and only other field will be URL

Please make sure you use the format for 6 records that we sent yesterday.

Also note that the profile pages have some javascript to make email capture more work.
