We’re in the market for outsourcing data scraping on Facebook profiles (and potentially some other social media networks as well later); we can provide the URLs to be scraped.

We need as much data scraped as possible from them, including images and text, and organized in a way that makes it easy for us to understand the structure of the different data types.

Please download the images for us, or provide links to images that you’ve stored somewhere outside of the Facebook platform that we can access. You can format the text part as a .csv file or another type of text file, or as a JSON.

We look forward to seeing the initial results, discussing any modifications needed, and the pricing for scaling this up.

Please scrape as much data as you can from the three sample profiles. Then we’ll look at the formatting here and discuss any modifications needed.

We’ll want to keep track of what data comes from which parts of a profile. For images, please download them into a separate file and keep track of which ones come from which profile and which component of a profile. For example, an image could be labeled “handle1_newsfeed_subcategory1_image1”.

The text part of the scraped content should be in a text file format or JSON.

The next step after this will be to discuss pricing for approximately 5,000 profiles. If this works well, then we can discuss increasingly larger numbers.
