Project Description:
I am starting a new business venture in property-deal sourcing, and packaging to investors. My marketing strategy, initially, will be to provide investors with an app displaying comprehensive selling and renting property data for the whole of the UK, grouped by postcode.
I need to source sufficient data on UK properties to be able to evaluate the potential for the following investment strategies:
Residential Buy to Let
Student Buy to Let
HMO’s
Holiday Lets
Hotel Lets
Commercial Property Buy to Let
Buy to Sell (Flipping Property)
Commercial to Residential Conversions
Property Development
Rent to Rent
I plan to source potential deals from websites such as (RightMove) https://www.rightmove.co.uk/, (Zoopla) https://www.zoopla.co.uk/ and other similar sites.
Some of the information I need is hidden, or not easily available, and therefore might have to be sourced from the energy certificate homepage https://find-energy-certificate.service.gov.uk/, or perhaps by collating the data with the (HM Landregistry-Deeds) landregistry-deeds.co.uk site, and other public sources.
At this point its not entirely clear the total data points I’m going to need to provide the appropriate packages for all strategies (HMO letting potential, Commercial /Residential conversion, for example), but as a minimum I will need the following:
Property Title
Property Type
Image
Location
Street
City
Postcode
Price
Seller Name
Seller Address
Contact number
Description
Total living room — Sq mtrs
No of bedrooms
No of bathrooms
Garden — Sq mtrs
Garage — No of cars
I will provide an updated list in due course.
Ideally, I want to extract data a couple of times a week and receive it in the form of an update directly to one or more Google “Sheets” spreadsheets in my Google “Workspace”.
