Project Title: Pricing on Web Scraping for Real Estate Data

Project Description:
We haven’t been in touch before but I believe my colleague reached out regarding web scraping of hotel reviews.

I’m the new head data scientist and we have another idea for which your services may be useful. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what the process would look like, what the cost would be, etc.

We would like to get information for every rental building in NYC. There are approximately 26,000 in total but we can narrow that down to ones of particular interest. The website which has the information is apartments.com. Each building has a page. The pieces of information we’d like to pull off of the pages are;

1) Address
2) Rents/bedrooms section
3) About section
4) Apartment amenities section

We can provide a list of addresses, however, from what I can see the only sure way to get to each building is using the map tool on the website. The reason being that if a building doesn’t have apartments available it doesn’t show in the search and that if multiple apartments are available it shows up multiple times in the search.

Would it be possible for you give me an idea of time estimate and cost per 1,000 buildings?

For similar work requirement feel free to email us on info@webscrapingexpert.com.

    How much time would you require to set-up daily extraction process to scrape newly added properties on homes.com?
