Project Description:
I’m Luigi Atzeni, an Italian student of Data Analytics for Business and Economics in Milan with a recent high interest in hospitality analytics.

I’m writing you because I’m staring to work on my thesis project on “Big Data Analytics in Hospitality Industry”. My project is kind of a multi-subject work, because it is going to focus firstly on the presentation of the state of art of Big Data Analytics and of the digital frameworks that are actually used in this sector (So relate to Digital Management and Digital Marketing) and secondly on the implementation of a proper analysis on it.

Actually, for the “marketing and management” section I’m going to discuss from the economic point of view what is the relationship between Airbnb and Hotels, with a mention to the OTAs role in it.

About the latter my intention is to analyze the mutual effect between Airbnb and Hotel Performances using Python, R and some statistical tools.

Actually I’ve the data of Airbnb and I’m managing to have those of hotel performances. But today I thought about the possibility to scrape the prices of the hotels from Booking.com and I read that you’ve already did it. I was wondering about the possibility to have a look to your scraping code. Is it a service that you are available for? How much will it cost?
